Forbes Marketplace is seeking a Paid Marketing Content Manager to lead WordPress content creation, page performance optimization, and page asset management for Paid Marketing teams. This role combines hands-on WordPress page production, copywriting and editing, performance analyses, and page production workflow oversight. The position requires flexibility to work across global teams and the ability to manage both strategic and hands-on aspects of content planning and page production for Paid Marketing campaigns., The successful candidate will report to the Paid Marketing Publishing Manager and to assigned Paid Marketing team leads to play a pivotal role in developing conversion-driving Paid Marketing landing pages and funnels across several major web brands.,
- WordPress page production: Oversee the creation, auditing, editing, and optimization of WordPress landing pages and conversion funnels across multiple web properties for assigned Paid Marketing teams. Ensure landing page content consistently aligns with campaign targets and objectives and maximizes conversion opportunities.
- Manage request workflows: Oversee page request workflows for Paid Marketing teams. Create team request tickets, sort by priority, delegate to the Paid Publishing team as needed, and ensure deliverables are accurate and meet completion timelines.
- Content planning: Partner with Paid Marketing teams to drive content planning and partner messaging alignment across web brands. Plan WordPress page production schedules to meet campaign launch and page refresh deadlines. Support affiliate partnerships with timely editorial and tracking updates.
- Optimize lander content: Conduct in-depth analysis of existing SEO and SEM content to repurpose it for Paid Marketing landing pages and funnels. Write and or edit page copy and source or create imagery that resonates with target audiences, increases conversion rates, and drives measurable outcomes. Ensure pages adhere to established SEM funnel best practices to maximize engagement and conversions.
- Manage page and partner data assets: Assist Paid Marketing teams in tracking page asset status and partner USPs. Conduct reviews to ensure tracked pages display current and accurate partner listings, data links, messaging, and content. Regularly audit campaign landers and recommend USP updates and refreshes for stale content or underperforming channels.
- Support performance testing: Assist in analyzing page and campaign performance. Collaborate with the Paid Marketing and Experimentation teams to create and track test page variants and identify testing opportunities for page performance improvements.
- CMS improvements: Proactively seek and suggest improvements to streamline CMS processes and improve content creation and page management efficiency. Identify WordPress template display and functionality improvements and assist the team in coordinating technical requests via the Publishing and Product Managers.
WordPress CMS expertise: 3+ years of hands-on experience with WordPress, specifically in building and optimizing landing pages and funnels for Paid Marketing campaigns. Proficiency with both Classic and Gutenberg Block editors and template-based page production. - Paid Marketing expertise: Experience implementing SEM tactics including campaign messaging and lander alignment, conversion priming, on-page CTR and CNV best practices, and A/B testing.
- SEO, SEM and Advertorial copywriting and editing: Solid writing and editing skills in repurposing and optimizing existing SEO and SEM content per Paid Marketing strategies. AI content generation skills and advertorial copywriting skills are a plus.
- Image sourcing and editing: Curate stock photography that complements campaign messaging and boosts user engagement. Sourcing and resizing stock imagery using various image management tools is required. Graphic design skills using Canva or similar tools a plus.
- Time management: Able to prioritize and allocate your time to ensure team requests and requirements are completed in a timely manner.
- Communication and collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to engage with team members and external support teams.
- Attention to detail and quality control: Ability to produce WordPress pages, manage request workflows, and review deliverables with minimal errors.
- Flexibility: Willingness to accommodate global team time zones and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
- Project management: Familiarity with project management tools including Trello, Slack, and Jira is a plus.
- Proactive mindset: Ability to identify opportunities to improve content production efficiency and propose actionable solutions to management.
