Full Job Description

The Search Lead has the overall responsibility for the performance of the Search team and the key products (EVO, Broadband, new phone launches etc.) they manage. Working closely with the media agency and internal planning teams, the successful candidate will help to shape the strategy and direction of Search and YouTube, ensuring the ongoing improvement in performance and growth across a broad reach of Paid Search platforms. The Search Lead will be a highly motivated person that will lead day-to-day strategic management across all aspects of Paid Search and YouTube. You will be expected to lead the strategic direction of the channel as well as implementation of the strategy. You should be confident to manage budgets to deliver against KPIs, and work alongside the team to deliver a roadmap in line with Vodafone's objectives. You will lead the review and assessment of campaign performance and will need a strong understanding of the principles of digital media and the common measurement approaches. You will work closely with all members of the PPC team to improve their skills and delivery through training and strong leadership. You will be working alongside the Martech team the Search Lead will determine any Martech requirements, supporting in identifying gaps and building business cases and roadmaps for showcasing change.

We'll need you to have considerable industry experience, with a track record of driving brand and performance uplift on enterprise-level accounts.,

  • In depth Paid Search (Google & Bing) and YouTube knowledge and experience.
  • Hands-on and operational experience of search technology platforms - Google Search Ads 360 & DV360. Experience with Adthena, Lunio & Squared.io would be beneficial.
  • Search PPC knowledge including account and keyword strategies, Remarketing, KPIs and targets, script development / account automation tools, and related products, e.g. Google Shopping.
  • Attention to detail and ability to hit deadlines while managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience managing a team and ability to delegate effectively while managing the overall delivery of work.
  • Brand and performance planning experience, demonstrating knowledge in harnessing data and technology to deliver accountable media outcomes.
  • Good data management and analytical skills.
