Full Job Description

We are currently seeking a Paid Social Account Director to lead the team on one of our luxury accounts. The role focuses on delivering market leading social strategy, innovation and brilliant client servicing. You will be responsible for overseeing all paid social activation and will be one of the main point of contact for the client, dealing directly with key stakeholders. You will be leading a team consisting of one Manager, one Senior Executive and one Executive - enabling their growth and development. You will report into a Business Director. As an Account Director, you will also be part of a leadership team where you will be expected to contribute with new ideas and new ways of working, driving forward our business as well as the client and team you specifically lead. What will you be doing?

  • Lead account strategy and performance and activation across multiple social channels and markets
  • Build strong relationships with the client and key internal stakeholders
  • Provide strong leadership and inspiration for the team and clients
  • Manage and lead the team, be responsible for the output of the team, ensuring all deliverables meet the standard expected. Attention to detail is imperative to all planning and execution, as well as all client deliverables.
  • Be responsible for team appraisals, mentoring, coaching and developing junior team members
  • Liaise with media owners to get the best value for the team
  • Inform the roadmap for development of the client
  • Be responsible for recruitment for your team
  • Provide solutions to client challenges and present these to clients in a concise manner

    This role is ideal for someone who has a proven record of leading global social accounts, has worked with a variety of different clients, can sell in ideas and drive innovation. We are looking for someone with a great record in managing teams and keeping team members engaged and motivated. The ideal candidate will be a Junior AD or a Senior AM with a solid background in Paid Social, ready to step up to the next challenge. Passion for digital, an open mind and an ability to work well with people are a must., What are we looking for?
  • Advanced knowledge of Meta Ads and other social advertising platforms
  • Experience in line management
  • Great attention to detail and numbers oriented
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, being confident in leading client comms with senior stakeholders
  • Experience in planning, managing and activating multi-market social campaigns
  • Desirable experience:
  • Experience in putting together high level social strategies
  • Experience with Sprinklr
  • The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and abilities:
  • Strong leadership, communication skills and ability to engage with planning teams and also brand leaders at the client side
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Be solution driven and innovative with how they drive performance from their accounts
  • Able to develop and learn new processes
  • Experience with new business pitches and knowledge of how a business operates
