Full Job Description

Reporting to our Group Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for managing our paid social marketing channels to an agreed cost of sale, with a focus on driving efficient traffic to acquire new website and social traffic, growing audiences across platforms, and increasing global reach to potential audiences. There is a primary focus on optimising paid campaigns across all platforms to achieve a specific Return on Advertising Spend (ROAS). The successful candidate will have a penchant for social-first creative assets and a demonstrable ability to stay on top of emerging social media trends. What you'll be doing:

  • Day-to-day account checks including bid management and campaign adjustments.
  • Audience creation and analysis across concurrent global campaigns.
  • Manage all paid media campaigns and ensure that they are fully optimised to achieve KPIs within an agreed budget.
  • Ad copywriting and liaising with the creative and content team on asset production.
  • Monitor creative performance to enable the best feedback for further creative iterations and new ideas.
  • Tracking campaign performance and key on-site metrics using Adobe Analytics, thoroughly analysing all performance data to report, review and identify opportunities moving forward.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the latest industry trends and changes.
  • Creating a solid feedback loop between the team to create a better flow of new creative and paid social media management.
  • Work closely with the creative and design agencies to incorporate best practices in paid media campaigns.
  • Work alongside our Group Social Media Manager to support and coach junior members of the team in all things performance related.
  • Conduct ongoing testing and closely monitor all spend management, creative and targeting whilst evaluating all accounts.
  • Execute paid media/traffic driving tactics and deliver best practices in paid social, paid search and other emerging channels that unlock our objectives.
  • Propose, agree and review strategy on an ongoing/periodic basis.
  • Work closely with the wider content and digital team to agree call to action/tactics and a plan that optimises acquisition and retention.
  • Reporting on Paid & Organic social media campaigns for 50 Best Events and Paid Partnerships.
  • Occasional travel to live events to support the social team, including live coverage, content capture and creation, and assisting with managing external photography and videography teams as needed., 25 days annual leave in addition to bank holidays- increasing by one additional day after 6 years, up to a maximum of 30 days.

    We're looking for a paid social media specialist with an eye for detail, a passion for the ever-evolving world of social media and an appreciation for incredible food, drink and hotels., Experience in digital marketing campaign management, being the lead on paid media campaigns.
  • An in-depth knowledge and experience in running campaigns across Meta Ads Manager & LinkedIn Ad Campaigns, with proven high-performance.
  • A strong understanding of bid/budget management strategy.
  • Ability to analyse campaign performance and key on-site metrics using Adobe Analytics.
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to draw insights from large data sets.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g. complex formulae and PivotTables).
  • An understanding of wider marketing principles: understanding user journeys and how to influence them through paid campaigns, implementing effective marketing messaging at all stages of the funnel.
  • Experience in managing 'call to action' marketing activity.
  • Experience in copywriting and creation of engaging posts, social friendly visuals, designs and video.
  • Keen interest in burgeoning platforms (TikTok).
  • Desire to push the creative boundaries and ability to adopt a 'try and see' mentality when it comes to platform-specific creative.
