Full Job Description

– DFT’s, temp checks,
humidity checks, QA sign-off’s etc..
To be able to do overtime hours should projects require the extra time and effort.
To follow company policies and procedures in terms of hours, breaks, behaviours etc
To follow company policy and Health & Safety including correct PPE.
Ideally familiar with correct storage, use and disposal of hazardous substances.

Our client is looking for a skilled and experienced industrial wet sprayer to help strengthen the paint/prep department following a recent large extension to our spray booth.

This role requires a strong skill set in industrial wet spray, plus knowledge and ability in the preparation of the units themselves - (key,
clean and seal of large units made from structural steel.

Ideally paint sprayer will have the following
Experience in spraying large scale metal items.

Ideally similar to the large steel containers we produce.
Understanding of COSHH and paint data sheets.
Good knowledge of paint specs and mixing ratios – hardeners, thinners etc
Ability to Quality check before and after spray
Ability to attain a high quality finish using our air assisted spray system with the possibility of occasionally switching to an airless system.
Quality is paramount our company would expect no runs/bleeds/flat spots/light spots
Experience with filling in necessary spray booth paperwork, as well as technical sheets for the items being sprayed.

£15 - £17.50 per hour dependent on experience

Hours of work 7:30 – 16:30 Mon – Thu, 7:30 – 12:30 Fri.

Overtime is often readily available and paid at time and half anything
over normal hours and double time on Sunday
