Paint Technician - Accident Repair Centre Romford

Allen Motor Group are currently looking to recruit a Paint Technician to join our Accident Repair Centre in Romford.

As a paint technician, you'll have some key tasks and activities within your area of responsibility:

Prepare vehicles for paintwork, including masking, sanding, and priming.
Apply paint, ensuring a flawless finish that meets manufacturer and company quality standards.
Carry out minor body repairs as needed, including scratch removal and panel preparation.
Perform final quality checks, ensuring a seamless and polished appearance before returning vehicles to customers.

This position is offered on a full-time working contract of 40 hours a week paying up to £40,000 with an OTE of £52,000, reporting to the Bodyshop Manager.

To be considered for the position, you will need to possess a relevant formal qualification (City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3) as a minimum. We are looking for individuals who possess the following attributes & skills:

A full UK driving licence.
Proven experience in automotive painting, including paint mixing, colour matching, and application techniques.
Knowledge of paint application tools and equipment, including spray guns and preparation tools.
An eye for detail, ensuring work is completed to the highest standard.
Previous experience in a franchised dealership or body shop environment (preferred but not essential).
