Full Job Description
Do you have a passion for improving rooms and making them look sharp? Are you an experienced painter and decorator looking to make a difference and put a smile on the faces of customers and staff? Travelodge has one of the largest in-house maintenance teams and we are looking for a painting expert to help improve our hotels to provide customers an unforgettable experience. What's it all about? If you enjoy travelling and getting out and about, this could be a bit of you. You will be supporting Travelodge in a regional role covering Central England. This means you will be driving to areas likes Wales, Birmingham, Leicester, Yarmouth, Southend - anything along the Central Belt of the UK on a daily/weekly basis focusing on painting and decorating our new refit hotels and touching up any damage to other properties. A big part of this job also includes building relationships with Hotel Managers to help maintain properties and making sure you hit your targets! Why Travelodge? We believe in creating an inclusive workplace where everyone can be their true self and belong. We work hard to improve the diversity of our teams and celebrate our differences. And we care about our colleagues' wellbeing, so we ensure there are plenty of resources available so everyone can look after their emotional, physical, financial and work wellbeing. We call this "Better Me". Who will this appeal to? If you have general maintenance experience looking for job stability and a welcoming environment, Travelodge could be the place where you belong. As this role involves travel across the uk on a daily/weekly basis, you will need to have a valid Manual UK driving licence. You will also need to be able to stay overnight in some locations due to the travelling nature of the role. What are the extra benefits of working for Travelodge?
