Full Job Description

To carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance of all the University's Estate property portfolio.
Undertake adaptation/repair and reactive, planned and preventative maintenance work, including when necessary problem diagnostics, of all building (non-services) areas across the University's estate, in compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and procedures.

Oxford Brookes University is looking to recruit an experienced, reliable and highly motivated Painter & Decorator as a member of the Estates team to undertake planned, preventative and responsive maintenance across residential and academic buildings within the University Estate, working on both commercial and domestic buildings. Painter & Decorator play a proactive role within a motivated and innovative team, delivering key objectives to meet directorate and university wide requirements., Qualifications and Experience for the post of Painter & Decorator

Qualifications: A recognised apprenticeship in building services, painting NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification.
Experience: Significant post apprenticeship operational experience in chosen discipline plus proven practical multi-discipline operational experience in other building maintenance areas.
