Full Job Description

As an experienced Painter, you will contribute to the provision of good quality rented housing, and the achievement of high levels of tenant satisfaction, improving the landlord and tenant relationships, and protecting health and safety. You will be responsible carrying out all aspects of aspects of internal and external painting in domestic and commercial buildings, including stripping and papering walls, ceilings, and staircases. Work can include textured finishes, specialist coatings, fire retardant work and mould treatments. We will also look to you to use elements of the skills of other general trades to meet the target of first-time fix where it is efficient and appropriate to do so.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of working in all aspects of painting works
  • Qualified, certified & trained Painter to NVQ3 or C&G Advance Craft.
  • Full and valid driving licence.
  • Experience of communicating with customers with differing needs.
  • Experience of carrying out investigations and tests to identify faults and the root cause of issues and implement lasting solutions.
  • A well-organised and a methodical approach to completing tasks and prioritisation skills.

    Working Hours: 37 hours per week - Flexible and agile working (by agreement) to cover the service 24 hours per day and 7 days a week
