Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our admin team within the Patient advice and liaison service, which will be based within Doncaster Royal Infirmary.

Working within the admin team in the PALS department you will provide clerical and admin support to our service users. The individual will be professional, efficient and friendly ensuring that all admin tasks and patient queries are dealt with, and any queries received are answered or sign posted to the correct department or person in a timely manner.

Main duties of the job

To welcome feedback from patients, families and carers. The contact will be via the following methods:

Email, Postal letters, Face to face, Telephone calls

Resolve concerns where possible or direct to the appropriate channels

Support the team in office management

Positively seeking feedback

The PALS service works with all divisions and services throughout the Trust at all sites. The role can also involve communicating with external organisations such as independent complaints advocacy services.

PALS are responsible for providing an effective and efficient administration service for the Trust's complaints management team, supporting the divisions and services. The team will support a pro-active approach to the management of concerns and complaints within statutory requirements and national and local guidelines.
