Full Job Description

An exciting new opportunity to join the panel team working full time, 37 hours per week for 12 months. Your primary base will be Council Offices, Spennymoor. The role is to ensure accurate tracking of the panel cases and inputting of information onto the children services data base. Collating of agendas for panels and ensuring minutes are correct. Pulling data for service managers and head of services when requested. Full training will be provided but it is important that you have excellent minute taking and organisational skills. WHAT IS INVOLVED? We are a friendly, and welcoming team, based around the county. You would be required to research, prepare and supply information as required including statistics, tracking information and producing reports. You will co-ordinate meetings including arranging venues, sending invitations, organising agendas, taking minutes and following up associated action points. You would administer Strategic Panels, Legal Clinics, Legal Planning meetings, PRP panels and PMG panels including setting agenda's, collating information, distributing outcomes, and maintaining appropriate tracking systems. You will prepare complex documents using a variety of formats including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint., Durham County Council currently operates a hybrid working policy where a model of 2 days in the workplace and 3 days at home/remote will apply. This model is pro-rated for part time roles and arrangements are at managers discretion, alternatively you can work all of your contracted hours within the workplace if you prefer.
