Full Job Description

This role is a factory based role, wiring electrical harnesses and control panels and associated equipment for fabricated Doors for industry. Based in the West of Newcastle upon Tyne This includes

  • Drilling, cutting, fabrication, fitting and assembly of sub-assemblies and motor drives, commissioning and testing of completed product.
  • Monday - Friday 39 hours with overtime available, Completing set works accurately, timely and efficiently.
  • Completing all required documentation accurately, timely and efficiently including time records, test and inspection plans, materials use, stocktaking, purchase requirements and database entry.
  • Commissioning and final test of equipment and diligently completing necessary documentation.
  • Working within a team, committed and contributing to the team to the best of your ability.
  • Reading of drawings and able to follow technical instructions., Undertake training as required
  • Work safely and in accordance with company Health and Safety procedures and use of PPE
  • Make sure your work area(s) is kept clean and tidy at all times.
  • Follow management instructions
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOP)
  • Be responsible and get things done.
  • Share information and work towards team building.
  • To be fully aware of and adhere to the relevant policies and procedures.

  • Electrically qualified to City and Guilds or equivalent
  • NQC in electrical field
  • Experience of wiring and commissioning of equipment
  • Have full colour vision
  • Able to work methodically and attention to detail
  • Skilled in wiring, testing and commissioning
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
