Paralegal

In this fantastic opportunity, the successful candidate will proactively handle a caseload of personal and commercial contract dispute cases, acting for both Claimants and Defendants. Full training and support would be offered at the outset and throughout. The successful applicant can initially expect to manage of a caseload of Small Claim cases, from receipt of instructions through to negotiation of settlement. Once confidence is built at the pre-litigation stage, and always under appropriate supervision, the role holder will be expected to handle litigated cases and progress these through the court process. You will join a supportive and fun environment that offers encouragement to your ongoing support and development in your legal career.

We'd love to hear from candidates with excellent communication skills who can deliver great customer service to our clients and internal customers. You may have a degree or equivalent qualifications but proven experience in a professional environment (for example, insurance and financial services, civil service, or local government) would be highly advantageous, and the ability to work at pace and demonstrable resilience and empathy is essential.

Our businesses include a legal expenses insurance company and a law firm.
