Full Job Description

The Paralegal, Legal Operations for Cytiva is responsible for providing contract reviews, advice and assistance on a wide range of legal & compliance matters and projects support across our Platform. This postholder will report to the General Counsel of Legal Operations located in Amersham Place, Little Chalfont, Buckinghamshire, UK and will be on-site. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery. What you will do:

  • Be part of a Global COE of Paralegals deployed across a variety of transactions and projects, worldwide at Cytiva.
  • Carry out contact reviews of NDAs and MTAs.
  • Support the process improvement & document management of Legal and Compliance policies and procedures, new T&Cs templates and fallback manuals.
  • Help with the selection, appointment, performance management and accounts payable of external Legal Counsel and third-party service providers.
  • Develop, manage and assist with presentations in a Platform-wide training program to help Legal & Compliance, Business Support Functions and OpCo Associates stay abreast of changes in Cytiva Policies and law.

    In the USA hold an Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field (required), or bachelor's degree (preferred) and in the UK have a degree in Law.
  • For the USA & UK you will have a relevant Paralegal certification from an accredited program (preferred).
  • 1+ years relevant professional experience in a large law firm or corporate legal department.
  • Proficient in common contract templates such as NDAs.
  • Proficient in legal research databases, Microsoft Office Suite and digital case lifecycle workflows.
