Paramedic

East Hill is seeking a part-time paramedic to join our friendly and supportive team in Colchester, on a part-time basis, days and hours can be discussed at interview. This role is key within our practice and will offer the successful applicant the opportunity to build on their experience for working effectively within our multi-disciplinary team.,

• Urgently respond to referrals, providing assessment, diagnosis and treatment at first point of contact by attending patients either in the practice or patient home.


• Support and continue the development of our on-the-day emergency patient service in the practice.


• Triage and prioritise home visit requests.


• Evaluate clinical information from examination and history taking, initiating appropriate treatment and/or referral.


• Maintain accurate clinical records in an efficient manner.
  
  We are a town centre practice with a list size currently at 9000 patients. We use Emis Web and consult with patients using a range of methods from face to face, video and telephone.
