Contracted Hours: 21 hours, term-time only (Flexible hours, to be discussed at the interview)

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families? Danecourt School is excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a Parent Partnership Lead to join our dedicated and professional team.
As Parent Partnership Lead, you will play a key role working with our families and pupils, to develop home/school partnerships, remove barriers to learning and promote positive attitudes towards school and education. It is a demanding yet rewarding role and requires someone with the right knowledge, skills and experience, together with an engaging personality and the confidence and ability to motivate and quickly to gain the respect of others.
As Parent Partnership Lead, you will have a strong belief in inclusion and the right for each child to be successful whatever their needs and abilities, a sound understanding of safeguarding and experience in multi agency working.
We're seeking someone who:
+ Has previous experience working with children and their families in a school, local authority, or similar professional capacity, especially within safeguarding.
+ Understands the unique challenges and needs of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
+ Is passionate about inclusion and has a strong belief in every child's right to succeed, no matter their individual challenges.
+ Has experience in multi-agency working and safeguarding.

Danecourt Special School is part of the Maritime Multi-Academy Trust, an innovative partnership of schools in Greenwich, Bexley, Kent and Medway .
