Parish Council Clerk

The Parish Council Clerk is the key person who administers and executes the work of the Council and is responsible for an annual budget of about £200,000. The Clerk ensures that the business of this local government body is transacted lawfully and manages the assets of the Parish Council being primarily the recreation grounds, cemetery and allotments. The Clerk is supported by an Assistant Clerk. The post is 37 hours per week full time including some evening work, working in the Parish Council offices at High Road, Cookham Rise, Berks SL6 9JF. The salary, dependent on experience, will be between £33,024 - £36,648.

Ideally applicants should have relevant experience, but training will be available if required.
