Full Job Description

We're looking for a Part-Time Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Finance team in Woking on a fixed-term contract that will conclude on 30th May 2025. In the role, you'll be ensuring accurate and timely processing and payment of supplier invoices for Clear Channel UK Ltd, and you'll efficiently manage supplier accounts and queries, Supporting the wider team with Invoice processing and preparing for payment for CCUK supplier accounts, ensuring the process runs effectively for payments to be made on time. We need someone that is flexible to work across all suppliers when needed. You'll utilise regular reports to understand current and legacy liabilities. What you'll be doing..

  • Being the first point of contact for supplier and colleague payment enquiries, demonstrating a confident and professional approach, able to manage own workload with minimal supervision
  • Processing invoices against receipted Purchase Orders
  • Registering non-PO invoices and obtaining approval
  • Regular reconciliation of key supplier statements
  • Ensuring incoming emails are actioned daily and managing own workload
  • Actively reviewing and investigating any unpaid items
  • Following-up on aged items/queries to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Utilising available reports and data to promptly process pending invoices.
  • Daily use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 accounting system for transactional postings and supplier account management
  • Ad hoc duties supporting the team's workload whilst they are testing the new system and during the live rollout.

    Someone to support the team whilst we transition to an AP Automation system
  • Preferably transactional finance experience
  • Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • An understanding of how and when to account for VAT
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail and great organizational skills
  • Experience of dealing with enquiries from external suppliers
  • Confident and professional communication skills
  • Excellent team player, who's happy to help when required
