Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly motivated Cashier/Finance Assistant to join our Finance team based at the Enfield campus.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of financial duties including collecting and posting of income, processing and banking of cash, managing the College's G4S account and the reconciliation of the petty cash account, processing of customer invoices, reconciling of designated balance sheet accounts.
The ideal candidate will have strong cashiering, numeracy, communication and IT (Microsoft Excel) skills. Candidates will need to demonstrate the ability to work accurately handling and accounting for cash and credit card takings on their own, as well as being a member of an effective and a busy Finance team. The successful candidate is also required to have some experience of working in an accounts/finance or banking environment as well as using a computerised accounting package.
This is a part-time role working for 20 hours per week. The actual salary is £13,676 inclusive of London Weighting.
