Full Job Description

  • Deliver engaging and stimulating computer science lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, catering to various year groups.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive computer science curriculum, fostering a love for the subject and its real-world applications.
  • Play a pivotal role in nurturing students' digital literacy skills and preparing them for success in a technologically driven world.
  • Effectively assess and monitor student progress, providing personalized support and guidance to ensure their academic development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the department and contribute to the ongoing development of the computer science curriculum.

    We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Computer Science Teacher to join their dynamic department. This is an immediate start opportunity (September 2024) offering a full-time permanent contract., Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Computer Science (or a relevant subject).
  • A minimum of two years' demonstrably successful teaching experience in a secondary school setting.
  • A strong subject knowledge and the ability to translate complex concepts into engaging learning experiences for students of varying abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • A passion for innovation and a desire to stay abreast of the latest advancements in computer science.
