Part Time Cook / Kitchen Assistant

We are currently seeking a Part Time Cook / Kitchen Assistant to join our team in a vibrant golf club environment. The ideal candidate will cover days off for our full time cook and assist in meal preparation during busy events. Work as part of the team to help deliver high-quality dishes to both our members and visitors.

Duties:

• Assist in food preparation and cooking under the guidance of the kitchen staff


• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area


• Support with basic cooking tasks such as chopping vegetables and preparing ingredients


• Help in stocking and organizing kitchen supplies and ingredients


• Follow food safety guidelines to ensure safe handling of food product.
  
  Level 2 Food & Hygiene Certificate


• Previous experience working in a restaurant or kitchen environment


• Basic knowledge of culinary practices and food preparation techniques


• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with the kitchen team


• Understanding of food safety standards and procedures


• Strong organisational skills to assist in maintaining an efficient kitchen operation
