Full Job Description

If you have experience in a facilities based role with knowledge of Health & Safety standards and experience of managing a team and external contractors to ensure a safe and functioning environment, then join the team at Stanley House Neurological Centre in Bosbury as a Part Time Facilities Manager on a 6 month temporary basis. As a valued member of the team, and with a team of your own, you will manage and oversee maintenance-related tasks, liaise with contractors and be responsible for ensuring the service's facilities are fit for purpose. This includes conducting regular audits. As a Part Time Facilities Manager at Stanley House, you will be working 22.5 hours per week, with some on-call duties required, and will have access to a range of training opportunities that can see your career grow to help you achieve your career aspirations. As a Part Time Facilities Manager you will be:

  • Organising and implementing a planned preventative maintenance schedule to optimise standards and performance of Care Centre plant, equipment, buildings, and grounds.
  • Organising and overseeing all aspects of preventative and corrective maintenance on buildings structure and fittings.
  • Ensuring adequate records of the planned maintenance and test results, e.g. Equipment logs, service certification, fire alarm logs.
  • Maintaining safe working practices when operating hand, power and workshop tools.
  • Ensuring that all electrical equipment is tested (PAT) in line with legislation.

    You will be working at Stanley House, a service which offers a multidisciplinary approach to its long term care provision and provides the specialised care and expert therapeutic intervention for those effected by the majority of known Neurological Conditions.
  • Working as part of the multidisciplinary team, you will support and enable residents to undergo reviews of their specific and/or changing needs.
