Part Time Housekeeper Carer in Northwood, Job ID J24AF

A lovely client residing in Northwood is keen to hire a part time live out housekeeper carer to assist with their daily tasks, maintain the cleanliness of their home and prepare meals. The job will focus on the housekeeping and cooking of meals for the time being. Someone who drives and has their own car is required for this position.

Working hours: 3 evenings a week (may require flexibility), starting between 3:30pm/5pm and for 3 to 4 hours

Duties include:

prepare lunch/dinner (two meals per visit) for the client to last 2-3 days
night medication and update the family WhatsApp group
encourage the client to walk and wear shoes instead of slippers
support the client with evening routine if required
companionship and reassurance
ensuring that the client is safe and comfortable at all time
ensure that the client has everything she needs at all times
being a comforting presence in the home when the husband goes out
clean the kitchen
sweep the floor if needed
do the laundry and ironing for the client
clean the house (vacuum, bathrooms) as needed (a weekly cleaner is provided)
grocery shopping at Northwood if needed (extra petrol fee for a weekly shop)
empty the kitchen bin when full and place contents in an outside bin
empty other bins (bathrooms, bedrooms, lounge) as required
empty and replace the metal food waste bowl on the kitchen window sill
manage food waste and recycling bins
tie and store bags
replace them with new ones
put out black bins
recycling bags
food waste bags weekly if working on Sunday
prep food for the next two days and do light cleaning as needed
They require someone who has a valid UK residence permit. They need someone to start as soon as possible.
