Part Time Nanny

Are you a kind, fun and proactive Ofsted registered (or happy to become registered) nanny looking for a new role?

A fabulous opportunity has become available for a three day live out nanny position in Aldbury, Hertfordshire. You will be working with a professional single Mum, helping to take care of her beautiful 19 month old daughter. You should be organised and reliable and have experience of working with a toddler of a similar age.

This will be a sole charge role, although Mum works from home, she is out and about often at meetings/appointments.

The hours will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 08.30-18.00 (28.5 hours/week), plus one Friday each month. Your salary will be paid evenly across the year. Ad hoc babysitting will be required. These hours will be mutually agreed and paid as overtime, at the hourly rate.

Mum is keen for her daughter to learn and play in a balanced way, helping her to reach her developmental milestones. She enjoys indoor activities such as reading stories, singing songs, playing games and arts and crafts. She likes to play outside in the garden and you will also be able to take her out to fun and educational age-appropriate activities and groups, such as soft play, music group and story time at the library, as well as trips to the park or farm, meeting up with friends to help her to socialise.

As well as general care of the little girl, the role will include nanny duties such as her laundry, ironing, wardrobe management (including uploading to Vinted), ensuring her bedroom and play area are organised, hoovered and tidy, keeping the kitchen tidy, etc). You will also be responsible for providing her with healthy and nutritious meals, homemade as often as possible. Batch cooking will be required. Knowledge of potty training is essential.

The family also has a cleaner who comes to the house each week.

You should be a careful and confident driver with a clean driving licence and your own fully insured car. Duty mileage will be paid.

Pay: £23,940 gross per annum / Mutually agreed overtime to be paid at £15 gross per hour
