Part Time Office Administrator

Needham Market, Suffolk

Salary - £24,499 - £26,507 (pro rata)

20 hours per week- Mon-Fri

Cotswold Archaeology is one of the largest providers of archaeological services in the UK with offices based in Cirencester, Milton Keynes, Andover and Needham Market. We are seeking to recruit a Part Time Office Administrator to support our Needham Market office.

This is busy and  varied administrative role. The successful applicant will need to be able to effectively multi-task in what is a predominately reactive role Able to quickly forge effective and professional working relationships with stakeholders at all levels, possessing a “can do” attitude able to work in a reactive environment as part of a team

The role will:

·       Provide an efficient and welcoming reception service for all visitors, customers and colleagues.

·       Ensure the office is maintained including remedial repairs and the sourcing and booking of building contractors to undertake emergency repairs.

·       Be the key contact for suppliers, contractors and postal services.

·       Manage the vehicle fleet for the office, including the collation of weekly maintenance and mileage records and maintain the central record for all offices.

·       Manage the archiving and filing of documentation for the office.

You will need to be able to demonstrate that you have:

·       Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise professionally with clients, suppliers, visitors and colleagues at all levels.

·       Proven office administration skills with the ability to prioritise effectively within a busy and reactive environment.

·       A pragmatic approach to problem solving and decision making, and ability to use initiative.

·       The ability to work both as part of a team and independently.

·       Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.

·       A full manual driving licence.

We are looking for someone to work 20 hours per week, Monday – Friday, but there may be some flexibility on the working times during normal office hours.
