Full Job Description
- Processing and transportation of baggage and cargo
- Loading and unloading aircraft
- Aircraft marshalling & other critical activities
- Application and manoeuvring of ground servicing equipment
- Collaborating with our flight crews to conduct aircraft engine 'Start-ups'
- Seasonal operational activities such as Aircraft De-icing / Anti-icing All duties will include the use of electric vehicles or specialist ground handling equipment. An awareness of health and safety and safe working practices is paramount, although a full 8-week training programme is provided.
- a Full UK/EC/EEA clean driving licence held for a period of at least 6 months
- full colour vision
- the physical fitness to cope with long periods of lifting, standing and bending
- be passionate about safety in the workplace
- a strong team player with the willingness to raise issues and contribute to our dynamic team You must also be:
- willing to provide a full five-year pre-employment reference check
- able to provide your right to work in the UK
- happy to complete our pre-employment medical and criminal record checks
- be able to work full time for the first 3 weeks to complete the initial training
