Full Job Description

The successful candidate will manage SEN across the school. You will have complete control of SEN across the school. Your job will include working with staff, parents and external partners to ensure SEN children are getting a high quality education, progressing socially and academically. You will also be leading and managing our Glade team - two adults who support our most complex ASD children. These children struggle in the mainstream
environment and therefore supported within The Glade. We have 4 full time children in this provision as well as a number of others who access it at specific times.

You will have the opportunity to work with our Assistant Head for Inclusion, who has her National SENCo award, and is part of the Leadership Team who recently won the Buckinghamshire Primary Leadership Team of the Year award.

We want:

-Someone who is passionate about giving SEN children the best life chances possible.
-Someone who has the national SENCo award or someone who would be willing to undertake this with support from us.

At Oakridge school, we believe that all our SEN children are amazing! We are looking for someone to be their main advocate and become our Part-Time SENCO. If you are not qualified, we will support you in gaining your qualification.
