Part Time Teacher - Vocational Studies

The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and delivery of effective and efficient teaching within courses in the high needs area.

This is an exciting time at Bishop Auckland College Group, and we are seeking a passionate and skilled Part Time Teacher in a vocational subject (examples but not limited to - IT, Hairdressing / Beauty, Childcare, Catering, Art or Performing Arts), to work with our high needs learners one day a week (Wednesday)., We are seeking to appoint an individual who is enthusiastic and committed to delivering high quality teaching to our students. You will have strong organizational/administrative skills and the ability to communicate effectively.

The successful candidate will be educated to a minimum of level 3 qualification in a relevant subject and have a Certificate of Education (or willing to work towards within two years). It is desirable that the candidate will also hold an IT qualification, Level 2 in Equality & Diversity, Degree, Level 3 Assessors Certificate, Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance/Internal Verification and QTLS.

Applicants will have experience of teaching on a range of courses.
