Full Job Description
Day-to-day duties of the role will include:
- Answering phones and booking appointments
- Responding to queries via phone, in person and email
- Registering new clients
- Completing insurance forms
- Dispensing medications
- Taking payments
- And most importantly; providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the practice
We are looking for someone with the confidence, empathy and experience to provide the high standards of care and the personal touch we expect for our clients. - Previous Receptionist experience is essential, veterinary experience is a plus!
- A genuine care of animals
- Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
- An excellent communicator with strong empathy
- Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
- A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
