Full Job Description

Ensure effective management of debtors and perform partner credit and activity analysis and monitoring and work with internal stakeholders and partners to facilitate timely collections. General Responsibilities: Credit Control

  • Monitor and control a portfolio of partner balances, activity and payments against their credit limit, including:
  • Ensuring on time cash collection and allocation
  • Anticipating developments and accounts requiring special attention
  • Timely analysis and reconciliations (sometime complex) of queried/disputed transactions, including discussion with partners and recommendation of resolutions to the Finance Manager
  • Collection of overdue partner accounts within collections policy
  • Credit Managment
  • Ensure Partners trade within existing Credit Limit and adopt measures to encourage trading within agreed Credit Terms
  • Relationship management with partners and internal stakeholders including finance and sales teams
  • Assist with setting up partners on the affiliate collect program in accordance with guidelines
  • Provide ad-hoc finance team support as and when requested
  • Query Resolution for Accounts Payable Partner Commision Payments
  • Be the sole point of contact for PLS Business and Partner Financial queries
  • Resolve queries by identifying the root cause and liaising with internal stakeholders in ensuring PLS Partners/Stakeholders have the correct information and a comprehensive understanding of the solution to avoid repeat questions
  • Build relationships with Global Stakeholders to ensure the timely and smooth resolution of new and existing challenges

    3+ years' proven experience in credit control with responsibility for an assigned portfolio of receivables/debtors or equivalent experiences
  • Analysis: Ability to anticipate implications of activity levels on partner balances against approved credit limits
  • Problem solving: Investigate statements issued against payments received (at a transactional level) and develop a solution for discussion with the Finance Manager
  • Relationship building: Builds effective relationships with internal stakeholders and partners.
  • Collaborative: Excellent track record of working with peers when probeme solving
  • Communication: excellent written and oral communication in both English and Mandarin
  • Computer skills: Strong Excel skills
  • Delivery: Ability to deliver to schedule with minimal supervision
