Full Job Description

You will be responsible for managing and undertaking fee earning work for a variety of private clients, providing efficient and effective legal advice, assistance and representation, from simple wills to high-net-worth estates, elderly client matters and tax planning.

  • A Senior Associate Solicitor/ Partner, Chartered Legal Executive or Member of STEP within an established private client team

  • Excellent experience/expertise in all areas of Private Client work including complex and high net worth client matters

  • Experience of managing staff

  • Experience in marketing and business development activities for the team/firm

  • Proven track record of billing (both personal and team) and commercial attitude

  • Technical experience in wills, trusts, estate administration, elderly client matters, lasting powers of attorney, capacity issues and inheritance tax planning

  • Meticulous organisation and strong IT skills

  • Compelling / engaging communicator and ability to instill confidence with a wide variety of clients

  • Ability to develop strong, collaborative and long-lasting relationships with clients, colleagues and referrers

  • Personable and professional with a team-focused mindset

  • Ambition to build upon own personal development and the teams excellent reputation
