Full Job Description

The Partnerships and Student Opportunities Officer is a varied role where no two days will be the same. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders to create opportunities for our students and graduates. Working with external partners you will source and create innovations projects, live briefs and challenges to support Work-related Experiential Learning within all programmes. You will also work to build new relationships to support Work-related Experiential Learning, graduate jobs and placement year opportunities, working with local, regional, national and international stakeholders. You may also work with overseas university partners to develop relationships to accommodate our students studying overseas., We offer a range of family friendly and inclusive policies and facilities to support staff from different backgrounds. A successful candidate will have a good understanding of the issues affecting student employability and success in the context of Higher Education. With excellent customer service skills, you will be experienced in working with a range of stakeholders to broker and develop opportunities such as placements, projects and internships. You will be self-motivated, a team player and be flexible and adaptable to be able to respond to changing priorities. The Team

This role sits within the wider Student Success and Employability Team. Working with colleagues across Careers and Global Opportunities, you will help to enhance student engagement and employability by creating innovative opportunities that will enrich the student experience both during and after their studies. Work-related Experiential Learning is a major focus for all our Teams, as we work collaboratively to embed into all our programmes.
