The Partnerships Programme Manager will manage key partnerships in the UK. With this role you will get the opportunity to develop and coordinate key strategic partnerships, and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will put your strategic and problem solving skills to use in monitoring the partnership's progress as well generating insights and reports to keep the stakeholders on track., To build our network of 1000 stations, we need to set up successful collaborations with authorities and key industry partners. The Partnerships Programme Manager will develop and manage our key partnerships in the UK. With this role you will get the opportunity to coordinate the roll-out of sites under partnerships, and manage key relationships within Fastned and our partners. You will put your strategic and problem solving skills to use in monitoring partnerships' progress as well generating insights and reports to keep the stakeholders on track. You are a born communicator and bring positivity and enthusiasm to push projects further, even when things get hard.

As the Partnerships Programme Manager, you will join the Network Development team, an international team of highly driven professionals spread across Europe. Your responsibilities include overseeing and coordinating the implementation of the projects within the partnership, identifying and initiating initiatives across Fastned to support the delivery of the partnership's objectives, push progress and provide a single point of contact to internal and external stakeholders. You will work intensely with the local Fastned team as well as other central business units such as legal, finance, commercial and product engineering for which you will steer effective decision-making and monitor progress and ensure compliance with the partnership contract. You identify and address challenges and obstacles and come up with solutions. Additionally you will also develop strategies for further growing and intensifying partnerships.

The role is based in London, where you will become part of the Network Development team. You will work in close collaboration with the Country Director of the UK and other key senior stakeholders in Fastned.

Electric mobility is new territory for you? Worry not! As part of your onboarding, you will participate in a series of exciting workshops where you will learn everything important about electric mobility and fast charging infrastructure. In order to be successful in this role you have to be a strategic thinker and excellent communicator with outstanding people skills. You bring along extensive experience in partnership development or public-private collaborations. You are comfortable in high growth environments and are a natural in navigating complex environments. You find the right balance between strategic thinking, commercial judgment and the drive to make a difference. You bring enthusiasm and creativity to a business environment and you love to push projects through until success. Additionally, you tick the following boxes:

  • At least 8 years of relevant work experience in partnerships, alliances or public-private collaborations

  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills

  • Strong commercial and problem-solving mindset

  • Ability to connect and manage internal stakeholders' delivery during a given programme cycle

  • Excellent communication skills and a high level of initiative

  • Strong analytical and strategic skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

  • Familiarity with government regulations and compliance requirements related to partnerships

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English

  • You are highly motivated by accelerating the energy transition

  • Plus points for previous experience in high growth companies or renewable energy

  • Plus points for an existing network of key government in energy, infrastructure, transport or e-mobility sectors and an appetite to deepen it further
