Full Job Description

Our thriving and busy Bristol Dealership is looking for an experienced Parts and Service Advisor to join our front of house team to provide a service to customers which will promote the profitable sale of Workshop Services and Products Working Mon- Fri 45 hours, a 2 week rotating shift, plus Saturday mornings when required, currently 1 in 3. Service:

  • Ensure when working on the Front of House reception that customers are greeted professionally and with a friendly manner when booking in their vehicle, relaying back costs and information from their service and inspections etc.
  • Updating the customer throughout with timelines and costs where applicable
  • Ensure that the service area is kept clean and tidy, and that equipment is in good condition reflecting the image of an efficient and modern Retail Dealer point.
  • Ensure the Dealer point works to the criteria laid down in the Company Health and Safety policy.
  • Parts:
  • Ensure customer orders are taken and supplied to the correct specification.
  • Ensure that procedures are correctly carried out for the ordering of goods and their receipt.
  • Maintain an efficient filing and retrieval system.
  • Ensure that the parts area is kept clean and tidy, and that equipment is in good condition reflecting the image of an efficient and modern Retail Dealer point.

    To be able to effectively communicate at all levels both written and verbally.
  • To work on a variety of in house systems as well as having good working knowledge/experience in Word and Excel
  • Bring vehicle industry parts and service experience
  • To be able to develop or work in developing new or enhancing existing processes
  • To be able to adapt and take on new skills and approaches.
