Full Job Description

Materials Issue

  • Understand the requirements of technicians and issue materials accordingly.
  • Provide prompt and courteous counter service, responding to telephone enquiries swiftly.
    • Goods Inward
  • Check and receive deliveries to the site, maintaining the goods received quarantine area.
  • Collect goods from suppliers as required.
    • Stock Control
  • Participate in stock counts, ensuring reconciliation against inventory.
  • Ensure all stock items have appropriate barcodes and full traceability.
  • Keep the stock control system up to date and ensure items are located correctly.

    1. Customer-focused with a strong understanding of stores procedures and systems.
    • 2. Organised, accurate, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. 3. Literate and numerate with good IT skills and excellent communication. 4. Previous experience in a busy parts department, preferably in the automotive, GSE, or plant machinery sectors. 5. GCSEs (A-C) in Maths and English or equivalent. 6. Full UK driving licence.
