Pastoral Admin Officer

Do you want to work in a team that makes a difference to young people? We are looking to appoint an outstanding team player to work closely with the pastoral team to provide administrative support including monitoring the punctuality and attendance of all students. The successful candidate should be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to a variety of audiences and be confident in dealing with staff, pupils and parents.

• Have a calm and approachable disposition when dealing with students and staff.


• Be well organised and efficient; keeping to deadlines and encouraging others to do so.


• A willingness to learn to effectively use Google Suite and related systems.

  Coombe Boys' School is a comprehensive secondary school offering a broad and balanced curriculum to local boys aged 11-16. We also have a mixed sixth form run in close collaboration with Coombe Girls' School. There are approximately 1100 students on roll including the sixth form. The school has held academy status since 2012, as part of the Coombe Academy Trust (CAT) which also incorporates Coombe Girls' School, Knollmead Primary School, Green Lane Primary & Nursery School, and Robin Hood Primary & Nursery School. Coombe Boys' is a popular and highly successful non-selective 11-18 school that is federated with Coombe Girls' School and three local primary schools to comprise the Coombe Academy Trust, based in New Malden. Coombe Boys' has approximately 1,000 students on roll, including a mixed sixth form.
