We are looking to recruit a Pastoral Administrator to work as a member of the Pastoral team providing efficient and effective administrative support to the team, reporting to the Deputy Headteacher. Trinity School is a popular and oversubscribed Christian Free School in Sevenoaks. We received 691 applications for 180 school places for September 2024 new student intake. About the Pastoral team The pastoral team at Trinity are passionate about encouraging our young people to fulfil their potential and feel their worth; they are central to ensuring the success of our students through developing relationships and providing support, intervention and guidance. The team work alongside all other members of the Trinity community in order to support and develop students, including the SEN team, form tutors, and all staff who work with our young people. About You Core responsibilities will focus primarily on providing support for the Deputy Headteacher and wider Pastoral Team. The successful candidate will be required to produce reports, update school systems and update and monitor a wide range of data via Excel. You will also be required to provide administrative support related to attendance when required. Previous office administrative experience is essential, preferably within a school environment, and applicants must demonstrate a good knowledge of safeguarding requirements for working with children. The ideal candidate will be proficient with IT including Microsoft packages such as Outlook, Excel and Word. Knowledge of a range of school specific packages would be a distinct advantage but not essential. A positive attitude and calm manner with the ability to communicate well with others and demonstrate good organisational skills is essential.
