Full Job Description

Working as part of our Pastoral and Therapies team, you will provide a coherent and integrated pastoral support structure which meets the needs of individual learners and will provide support for all our learners to ensure they are making progress, despite their circumstances and additional needs. You will liaise with staff, parents/carers and external agencies linked to each young person to improve their progress/outcomes and act as an outstanding role model for all learners.

If you are a good communicator, who is able to build excellent working relationships with learners, parents/carers and external professionals, have a good sense of humour, and are able to draw upon your experience of working in an education setting delivering emotional and social support to learners then we would encourage you to consider applying for this role.

We first opened our doors in 2014 with 10 learners and 3 staff. Since then, we have successfully grown the college to what it is today, with 147 students and 86 staff. Salary - £25,788 - £30,621 (Pay scale points 21 - 27) (actual gross p/a)

Reporting to - RSE & Wellbeing Manager

Contract - Full Time, Term Time, Permanent

Note: This is a term time only role, you will be required to work during term time only, taking all college holidays.
