Full Job Description
We are currently seeking a pastoral leader who will support Academy staff and subject areas by allowing effective teaching and learning to take place in lessons. The Pastoral Leader is required to lead and manage the delivery of pastoral support for an allocated Year Group. The role of the Pastoral Leader requires accurate record keeping and communications with stakeholders at all levels, which is both timely and effective.
The successful candidates will work within a strong Pastoral team to develop and monitor strategies and procedures for improving and maintaining student behaviour and conduct. Candidates should be suitably skilled in numeracy, literacy and ICT and have GCSE passes in English and mathematics at grade C or above (or equivalent).
