Pastoral Mentor

The successful candidate will work closely with our children to remove barriers to learning and restore them to a place where they feel ready to learn.,

• Work closely with internal and external personnel to provide support to pupils and families experiencing difficulties.
• Be sympathetic and supportive of families to develop strong links in our community.
• Liaise with relevant outside agencies to provide appropriate intervention for pupils and families.
• Provide information, advice and structured intervention programmes to help pupils make positive choices.
• Be positive and solution focussed to find the support available for families in need.
• Have positive interpersonal and communication skills.
