Full Job Description

We are seeking to appoint a skilled and committed Pastoral Support Officer to join our supportive, enthusiastic and highly effective Pastoral Team. The successful candidate will be committed to supporting young adults. Resilience, adaptability and a calm manner are the key attributes that are required for this role.

The key purpose of this role is to support the Deputy Headteacher, Welfare Team and the Learning Coordinators with all pastoral issues, in order to raise student achievement and attainment.

Responsibilities will include:

· The day to day provision of pastoral care

· Ensuring stability for the students with a continued presence around the School

· The provision of emotional and practical support so that students can maximise their potential.
