John Taylor Multi Academy Trust (JTMAT) believes in the power of education to improve lives - and the world. As a partner academy in JTMAT, we are seeking to appoint a hardworking, committed and enthusiastic Pastoral Support Officer to join our evolving organisation.

The successful candidate will work alongside Progress Leaders and the wider teaching staff to support student attendance, behaviour and wellbeing. All staff are expected to work alongside the teaching staff to be role models for our students, demonstrating the highest standards of teamwork, collaboration and respect. John Taylor Free School opened in 2018 and we are now at capacity with Year 7-13 students. Our first Ofsted rating is 'Good' alongside a strong set of first GCSE results with above national figures in all benchmark areas.

The Trust was founded in 2014, in John Taylor High School - an outstanding secondary school in Barton-Under-Needwood, and the first in Staffordshire to convert to become an Academy. We have grown steadily over time and currently serve 13 infant/primary schools, and 6 secondary schools.
