Pastoral Support Officer
Selston High School
Grade and Salary: Grade 4: £23,730 - £25,742 actual salary per annum pro rata (£27,711 - £30,060 FTE)
Working pattern: 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.
Contract term: Permanent

The role:
The Pastoral Support Officer will provide support to a designated Head of Year in pastoral matters and in particular with behavioural issues, safeguarding and parental engagement. The role will support the Attendance Officers with attendance issues within their designated year group.
The person:
The successful candidate will have experience of mentoring, coaching or working with young people, and experience of successfully working with young people with challenging behaviour. We are looking for someone who has the courage to challenge students to be their best and support in removing barriers to learning to ensure they reach their full potential.
