Pastry Chef

Magdalen College is seeking to appoint an able Pastry Chef to join our established kitchen team.

The kitchen team provide food for the Senior Common Room, Buttery and the Old Kitchen Bar, presenting high quality dishes to meet a wide range of styles and needs. The successful applicant will have a passion for cooking and developing their talents and experience in Pastry work. They need to have flare for innovation and be a committed team player, having a flexible attitude to learning new skills.

The salary for this role is £32,715 to £36,715 per annum, depending on experience. You will also be paid the Oxford University Weighting Allowance of £1,500 per annum. The hours of work will be 83.5 per fortnight on a two-week roster with a mix of early, late shifts with occasional split shift and weekends.
