We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a passionate and skilled Pastry Chef de Partie to join our esteemed culinary team at the Ham Yard Hotel. In this role, you will play a key part in our kitchen operations, contributing to the creation of exquisite pastries that delight our guests. You will work closely with our talented chefs, assisting with the order of service for lunch and dinner, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods to our exacting standards.

  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the pastry section, maintaining a smooth workflow.

  • Supervise and mentor junior members of the pastry team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.

  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail to ensure the quality and consistency of all products.

  • Manage stock levels, place orders, and control inventory to minimise waste and ensure freshness.

  • Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen.

    Proven experience in a similar role within a busy kitchen environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and lead a small team effectively.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for creating beautiful pastries.

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.

  • Experience in ordering and stock control.

  • A positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
