Full Job Description

We have a a great development opportunity at The Devonshire Arms Hotel & Spa for a Pastry Chef de Partie with aspirations to progress with an employer who will support you every step of the way.

You will work a 4 day week.\r

In addition to your salary, you will receive discretionary service charge and tips that can increase your monthly pay by up to £194 on average.
\r

Working across two kitchens. One being a 3AA Rosette and one being a 1AA Rosette, you will work in all areas, focusing on one section at a time.
\r

Your duties will be varied and will include food preparation, stock control, cleaning and menu input. The role is very hands on and will give the successful candidate exceptional experience within the restaurant business. You will also get the chance to spend some time in the kitchen garden.
\r

The Hotel is a 4 AA Red Star property, situated amidst the beautiful Yorkshire Dales on the banks of the River Wharfe with many great road links to the surrounding towns of Skipton, Ilkley and Harrogate as well as many others.
\r

Any formal qualifications such as an apprenticeship or an NVQ in Professional Cookery would be advantageous.
