Full Job Description

As the Pastry Sous Chef you will play an integral role in the overall operation of our pastry service. Ensuring a consistent delivery and standard at all times. You will be responsible for the junior staff on the section, leading by example and supporting their development.,

  • Oversee the effective running of our pastry service. Ensuring timescales and high standards are met.
  • Prepare an array of desserts which utilise the produce within our kitchen garden and sources from local suppliers.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef/ Senior Sous and kitchen garden team with regards to the produce being used within the pastry section.
  • Ensuring a clean and tidy workstation at all times.
  • Support the development of our kitchen team, working closely with our Apprentice Chefs.

    Our kitchens are busy aand bustling. Come with enthusiasm, your knives and a bucketful of passion and we can help you develop the rest. Experience as a Pastry Chef within a similar establishment is required.
