Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Cellular Pathology based at Lincoln County Hospital for a suitably motivated individual to join our Administration Team.

We are a centralised service responsible for the analysis of tissue biopsies from both ULH and NLG Trusts as well as primary care in Lincolnshire. Efficient administration of the samples we receive is essential in assuring that patients receive their results and associated treatment in a timely manner.

The department has a reputation for service innovation and improvement, we are looking for a motivated individual to join us to support ongoing service developments.

The post holder will be required to participate in all aspects of the Admin Facilitator role to facilitate the smooth running of the department. This includes audio typing, use of Excel spreadsheets, dealing with emails, compilation of Multi-disciplinary Team Meetings (MDT), effective data gathering and analysis proceduresand liaising with service users.

The department operates from 08:00 to 17:30 Monday to Friday, and the ability to cover a weekend rota will be required.
