Full Job Description

You will work closely with the senior leadership team for Cellular Pathology providing secretarial support., · Supporting the Senior leadership team with daily administrative duties
· Meeting organisation and room booking.
· Audio typing of meetings and other correspondence as required.
· Deal with telephone calls and verbal enquires in a polite and responsive manner.
· Filing, photocopying, scanning
· To work as part of a team, ensuring adequate cover during periods of absence, and to be adaptable to change within your own and Directorate environment.
· Liaising with medical staff and other departments/hospitals as appropriate.
· Effective management of queries as appropriate
· A good level of organisational skills will be necessary.
· The post holder will be required to prioritise tasks and respond to unexpected events changing priorities and adapting the works schedule accordingly., Please see attached Job Description and Person Specification for further details regarding this vacancy.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the North Staffordshire and Cheshire Pathology Service based at the Royal Stoke site for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with strong organisation and interpersonal skills to provide an administrative function to the Cellular Pathology Service., Candidates should possess a professional attitude to their work and have the ability to work flexibly in a busy environment. You will ideally have experience of working as an administrator/receptionist and be familiar with secretarial and administrative processes and practices.
