Full Job Description

This is a great time to join University Hospitals of Derby & Burton NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for a full time clinic prep team member to become a part of a large admin team within specialist outpatients. You will need to be able to work independently or as a part of a team. The ideal candidate will be willing to learn, have experience working within a busy office environment and will need to be able to lift case notes some of which can be heavy. There will also be opportunities to learn more administrative based skills such as phone line queries, booking appointments and reception duties.,

  • Checking when clinics are and making sure the medical notes are prepped correctly and within a timely manner.
  • Collect any documentation, results etc that may need to go with the notes.
  • Tracking notes on our system 'ifit' .
  • Collecting notes from other departments.
  • Liaising with medical secretaries, clinicians, admin staff and patients either face to face or via the telephone.
  • Filing. Paper and/or electronic.
  • Photocopying/Scanning.
  • Undertake clerical duties in a professional, timely manner, ensuring deadlines are etc, prioritising work and problem solving on a regular basis to achieve the best outcome.
